SOLIDWORKS TSA Glider Tutorials

Welcome to cudacountry's SOLIDWORKS 2012, CorelDRAW and Adobe Illustrator TSA Balsa Wood Glider Tutorials. We use SOLIDWORKS 2012 to design our glider and CorelDRAW or Adobe Illustrator to cut out parts on laser engraver.

The tutorials are designed to meet Middle School Technology Student Association conference competitive events requirements.

Part 1. Fuselage Blank. 3mm x 13mm x 300mm. Units are all metric.

11. Analyze in Wind Tunnel. Analyze design using Flow Simulation and create animation of flow trajectories. Now includes clone projects with Wing Angle Mate modified to change Angle of Attack. Lift and drag of cloned projects are compared to determine optimal Angle of Attack.

12. Export to AI. In this tutorial you export 2D sketches of Fuselage, Shark Tooth, Stabilizers and Wing sheet metal to cut on your laser engraver.

13. Export to CorelDRAW. In this tutorial you export 2D sketches of Fuselage, Shark Tooth, Stabilizers and Wing sheet metal to cut on your laser engraver.
Part 14. Wing. Straight Dihedral wing design. Part cut from Wing Blank.
Part 15. Wing. 6 Panel Polyhedral Dihedral wing design. Part cut from Wing Blank. Draw as a sheet metal part with sketched bends that flatten!
